WEEKENDD!!

First day of the weekend for us started on Friday as it was our day off. Today we went shopping in Central London. We went to the biggest shopping street in London called Oxford Street. In the morning at half past eight we were ready to leave as it would take us nearly an hour to get there,. Today it was Black Friday here in the UK, there are many bargins at half the price and with great discounts on this day. It was therefore very busy so we had to wait very long in the queues to pay -but that didn’t matter because it was still fun. As you can see in the pictures the whole street was decorated in the Christmas themes and looked very beautiful. It was a very enjoyable day with the girls.

Saturday we had a nice long lie in as we did not have to get up early. Everyone was roughly getting up around 1pm – 2pm and so we had made plans to see each other to do more shopping as we had not finished our shopping as yet..This time we went to one of the largest shopping malls and the shopping centre where we went was called Westfield. It is very large and you can buy anything there From H&M, Zara, River Island but they also have very expensive shops like Chanel, Dior, Michael Kors, in the Designer Village. That night we ate in Westfield shopping centre as there were a lot of restaurants there and later we went to the pub outside where all the local shops are.

Sunday we went sightseeing to Tower Bridge and Tower of London. At the Tower of London they had a really big ice rink and you could skate there and they had set up lots of tents with shops in them to buy things. There we hung around until 4pm and then we went to to see Big Ben and the London Eye.

Monday we continued with our sightseeing and tours. We first went to Harrods, which is in Knightsbridge which is the most expensive area for shopping and where we brought some nice gifts,. Then we went on a tour bus and we saw famous buildings and streets around London. after the bus tour we went to Hyde Park (which is a very big park in Central London) and they had a Winter Wonderland Christmas Fair which had stalls for gifts and food and rides, and a fun house with crazy mirrors which was great fun and we finished around 7pm and then we were ready to go home.
