The first four days in London!!

We arrived in London on Sunday all six of us on the same flight.. We were picked up at 9am from Stansted Airport by a taxi and took us to our host family. Lisette (the girl from my class) and I live together in a family, and we had to drive three hours before we got there. We were warmly welcomed and our room is very nice. After we had a nap, we went exploring. Our hostess told us which bus we could take and Lisette and I made a trial run to our new school. after we visited the school, it looked old but nice on the outside, we heard that one of the girls was in the shopping centre, so we decided to join her and do some shopping.
The next day, was our first official day in school. It was an introduction so we did not have any lessons. It was nice to see how the salons there laid out, the teacher also told us what we were doing in the next two weeks. Later that day we went all decided to visit the shopping centre so that we could do a little more shopping – which is always fun. In the evening we went to the local Pizza restaurant called Pizza Hut . It was a successful first day.
Third day, the real lessons begin. We started at 9am with theatre make-up. First we watched them the demonstrations and then we tried it ourselves. we did this until 11.30am , and then we had a break. At 12:45pm we started the lesson again, we went a bit further with theatre make-up to finish it because it was a lot of work. When we were done with that, we had to choose an animal face that we liked and then draw this on a piece of paper. This was fun to do and you showed your creative side. although Lisette says my creative drawing needs a lot of help. In the late afternoon we were treated to facials and manicures, which was really great as my nails needed a new coat of nail polish.
On the fourth day, we had school from 9 to 3. Today we practiced with treatments on each other, which again was great fun. I worked with an English girl, Abigail, who was really sweet and nice and we helped each other. Today we used devices to remove cellulites – some type of electrode pads which were placed on the effected area, It was a strange feeling and I am wondering if it helps . After the break we were allowed to do use the equipment that was available in the classroom our

Dear ,
You’re of to England, awesome!! With you overseas, an idea came to me. I (and your fellowstudents as well) would enjoy it very much if you would tell about your UK adventures. My idea is that you each send me 1 or 2 photographs by e-mail. I would then put those in a small presentation and at the beginning of the first English lesson you attend, you can share your experiences . (In English of course, but that will be your second language by then).
I sincerely hope that you are enthusiastic about this idea. It is not obligatory, but it would dismiss you from your duty to do a 1 minute presentation in Period . At least you would have a topic that you are comfortable talking about.
I await your reaction with anticipation
Jullie zijn in Engeland, te gek!! Ik zou het heel erg leuk vinden als jullie de volgende Engels les die jullie bijwonen willen beginnen door iets over jullie ervaringen te vertellen. Mijn idee was dat jullie per persoon 1 of 2 foto’s naar mij e-mailen. Die zet ik dan in een presentatie en dan hebben jullie aan het begin van de les de gelegenheid om (in het Engels natuurlijk, dat zal jullie dan heel gemakkelijk af gaan) te vertellen over jullie belevenissen.
Ik hoop van harte dat jullie dat een leuk idee vinden. Het is geen verplichting, maar het zou je in 1 klap van je presentatie verplichting afhelpen voor periode 2 en je hebt in ieder geval een onderwerp waar je makkelijk over kunt praten.
